How it works?

The system consists of a main central unit and lighting units.

The main central unit receives information from the lighting units (status, input states, output states) and sends the information to the lighting units (output states) according to the control algorithms defined by the user.

The lighting unit converts the control information from the central unit into the output states.

The two-wire power and control bus is 48VDC to increase the total power supply capacity in the system.

The lighting units have five PWM 24VDC outputs. This allows bright and powerful luminaires to be connected.

The lighting units have several dry contact inputs for connecting push buttons and traditional switches. The devices also have a separate 12 VDC output for powering various sensors (PIR, proximity, presence, touch) without dimming (on/off only).

The system is a devices and software for creating a universal lighting system for rooms and/or furniture.

What is included in the MEULUM DC-PLC system?

Power supply, one central unit and several lighting units.
Luminaires, switches and sensors are connected to the lighting units. Any luminaire can be controlled from any switch or sensor in the system by a previously created program.
