Made of high-strand count (0.2mm x 26 strands) copper clad aluminum (CCA) 18 gauge conductors and high-quality PVC, flame retardant, anti-aging, acid, and alkali resistance and damp proof.
Max voltage: 60V DC
Max long-term current: 6A
Why? The electrical conductivity of aluminum is less than that of copper. Therefore, a CCA conductor has a higher DC resistance than copper. Keep this in mind if you plan to use a cable with CCA conductors for high-power (high current) transmission. There are several common types of CCA wire: 5% / 10% / 15% relative cross-sectional area of copper (!). The conductivity relative to pure copper of this wire (respectively copper content) is: 64% / 66% / 68%. This means that a CCA wire of the same cross-sectional area can safely carry only 64-68% of the current relative to 100% of the current of a pure copper wire. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_wire_gauge#Tables_of_AWG_wire_sizes
